Use this service to view your Northern Ireland driving record, for example vehicles you can drive. You can also check your penalty points or disqualifications and create a licence ‘check code’ to share your driving record with someone, such as a car hire company. Codes are valid for 21 days.
You can only use this service if you have a Northern Ireland driving licence. If you have a licence from the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in Great Britain go to: View or share your driving licence information - gov.uk
To access this service you must have a nidirect account and had your identity verified. Find out more about identity assurance and the documents you need to verify your identity.
If you already have an account you can log in to the service using the green button below.
Once you have created your nidirect account, you’ll be able to link your driving licence. Then when you are applying for your driving licence, the information from your driving record will be displayed on screen. That will save you time completing the online application.
If you create an account, DVA will also send you updates on the progress of your application, such as when it has been processed.
